Ring coming soon!

Hello all:

I had hoped to get the Webring set up by the weekend, but I will be going to beautiful Nelson, BC this weekend, and won't have any web access. I will definitely get it set up by the end of July.

For simplicity, I think I will name it the Knitting Physicians Webring. Clever phrases like "Purlicillin" "Take 2 purls..." "Trust me, I'm a Knitting Doctor" Can be used for blog buttons or headers.

BTW - welcome to eyeknit!

By the way...

I'm always jealous of people who can knit at work. Sadly, I don't think it would go over well for me to be working on a sock while I'm taking a patient's history.

I wish I could knit while dictating - that would make it so much more tolerable (dictating, not knitting!!)

Welcome everyone!

Hello all!

Thanks for joining the blog! Please feel free to post with any ideas regarding the soon to be formed Webring for Physicians who Knit.

Several people have given suggestions for names for the Webring. One person has also suggested that the webring have a simple name like "Knitting Physicians", and any catchy phrases could be used for bylines or buttons.

If anyone has any kind of graphic design/Photoshop skills, please put up your hand. I am sorely lacking in both, but I am able to come up with ideas.

I've started a Blog Member Links listing as you can see. If you have any friends or colleagues who might want to join our Blog/Webring, please send them this way!

The world needs another webring

Really.

This is the information age.

Up until now, if you wanted to find a blog authored by a physician who knits, you had to go through the hassle of a Google search. Then sort through hundreds of results, some p*rnographic, many irrelevant.

Now, you just have to go to our webring.

By the way - if you are looking for free medical advice,

Take 2 purls, and call your own doctor in the morning!
